More on the XPS Foam Tango Boats: painting and detailing has started

 As completely unnescessary projects go, this one is quickly escalating nicely. 😂😂😂

I decided to build two more with re-engineered hulls (6 in stead of 24 parts) and cooked up a way to alter their function between landing craft, helicopter/medivac vessel and monitor. 

Using magnets I made alternative bows with gun turrets that must be similar to the way the boats were originally converted by simply adding a longer bow and turret in front of the mortar pit that was left of the orginal landing bay. 

Removing the landing bay door and replacing it with the alternative bow quickly transforms the Tango boat into a Monitor.
