Proxxon Styrofoam cutter first tryout
The very best for 2020 to you all!
My Christmas gift for myself was a Proxxon Styrofoam cutter and some Greenstuffworld rolling pins. The latter have still to arrive, but the cutter arrived right on New Year's Eve! So of course on this first day of 2020 I had to play with it somewhat.
First tried some freehand stuff. Templates and a few add-ons will come in handy. Not so easy to do.
Making small terrain is remarkably easy and quick this way. Can't wait for the Greenstuffworld package to come in so I can start on buildings and such!

Then I tried my hand at some small furniture and a few Jersey Barriers.
And of course they had to be painted as well....

The last paintings of 2019 and best wishes fort 2020!
With the last -somewhat random- paintings of this year (most likely, since my holidays are done now) I can look back on a fruitful year in the (war)gaming hobby. Starting the year by finishing the prehistoric project I played (and then discarded) Cruel Seas only to paint and play lots of Batman The Boardgame and Spectre Operations. The Mythos Wars project got a lot of attention (and will receive even more in the coming year) and 2019 saw the revival of Battletech!
I can only hope 2020 will be as good. I wish all of you a tremendous 2020!!
