A colonial plantation building WIP

 An idea of mine to make rooftiles from XPS foam with a spaghetti roller (don't ask) evolved into this plantation building for the Vietnam Project. 

After some trial-and-error I settled on a spaghetti roller and a small rolling pin I sanded off to a sharp edge. The basis for the roof were XPS foam sheets made with the Proxxon about 3-4 mm thick.

First go with the spaghetti roller (also good for making planking btw)

Well, and when you have a roof, you will need a house.....

And the house so far. It could use some more more detailing. So added windows, chimneys and roofwindows. 

And a bit of paint. Now for more details and finesse...

Making a Jorogumo

 Since I decided to use samurai to play The Silver Bayonet I started to collect figures for it. FOr some reason I decided to make my own Jorogumo (a female spider demon) from Reaper Bones' Spider Demon miniatures. This was the result. Below the process.

28mm Oil Rig for SPECTRE Operations (practically) finished

 It can use some more details and a few better magnets for the attachment of the stairs and antennae but my oil rig gaming table center piece is ready for its first game! See how I built it here.

 For now the final ones. All that remains now is some more terrain: rice paddies and colonial buildings. And then the wait is for new releases.
